On the 5th of December the special meeting of the children club took place. The topic was Rules are for Good The children club was attended by 60 children. The peculiarity was that not only God’s rules were considered, but also the rules of conduct on the road. The children club invited the police patrol to communicate on the road traffic regulations and the pedestrians’ rules of conduct. The police officers narrated the possible consequences of the wrong conduct, answered the questions about their job and had informal communication with the children and teenagers. The Gospel truth was also proclaimed to the children, parents, and the invited police officers.

At the end of the meeting, the police officers presented nice colorful notepads and books with information about rules of conduct on the road. Then, the children had the photo session with the police officers near the patrol car.

Later, the volunteers from the non-governmental organization Lviv the Safe City attended the children dub and lead a game training for children and teenagers with the road signs and marking. We sincerely hope that all the children accepted in their hearts that God’s rules and road regulations are meant to save their lives, but not to violate them.
