On the very first Sunday service of 2011 two Gethsemane churches —from Lviv and the church plant in Chervonohrad — witnessed four our new brothers and sisters being baptized. Brother Ivan, Sister Alla, sister Zoya and brother Oleksandr praying on their knees as the baptism ceremony started. Pastor Valeriy praying for God’s blessing on the holy baptism to be held in the pool of Gethsemane church.

Sister Zoya joined the church through the ministry of the home cell, led by Lena Marchenko. Pastors’ wife. Brother Ivan, from Gethsemane Chervonohrad, was born to a believing family, even his wife who passed away 8 years ago was a believer. Now, many years after, all their prayers brought about the miracle of his salvation.

Sister Alla being prayed four with the laying of hands of the pastors. She lives in Lviv, and also is the mother and mother –in-law for a family in Chervonohrad. Her family (7 people, all believers)were there too to rejoice for her conversion to Christ.

Brother Oleksandr came to the Lord through his cousin , who is actively involved in his home cell ministry. Home cell servants praying for the blessing of the Holy Supper—all the church on the first Sunday of the year participated in the Communion with he newly baptized.

Pastor Valeriy presented special gifts to the new memebers of the church—baptism certificates, Gift Bibles, baptism pictures and flowers. At the very same service two more people repented ! On the picture they came forward to pray the prayer of repentance with Ritual Pastor Dmytro.
