On the eve of Ukrainian Father’s Day, which is annually held in the 3rd Sunday of September, members of the Church “Gethsemane” came out in the center of the city, near the Shevchenko monument to welcome parents, grandparents and future parents of this beautiful holiday.

NGO “Parents Future of Ukraine” and the Church “Gethsemane” today welcomed all men and told them about the special role of the father as head of family and responsibility before God for the upbringing of their children.

Elena Marheva, head of the music ministry of the Church “Gethsemane”, welcomed the men with the Holy Father and wished God’s blessing in their family, wisdom and understanding of parental responsibility for his family. Tsen and Jian Li Menmen – students from China, also warmly welcomed by all men of the All-Ukrainian Day Father.

Father – is the head of the family and that is why it is important that he was aware of its responsibility from the very beginning of his life for children. Young people who are not yet parents also need God’s wisdom as a natural father and head of the family. Grandfather – a father twice, so the older generation doubly deserves our respect and gratitude.

Svetlana M. Povtoreva – Associate Professor of Philosophy at Lviv National Lviv Polytechnic University in an interview for Channel CNL highlighted the role of father in the family. People’s Artist of Ukraine, Svyatoslav Maksymchuk – “Fatherland, starting from his father”. Mr. Roman Chaplyk (Lviv City Council) – “I congratulate all the parents and wish that you were always happy and loved.”

For children, Children’s Club “Future Parents of Ukraine” held a funny game and that day is remembered in particular – all willing to paint the clown Enyk (Paul Vasikov). Each parent is responsible before God for how he will educate their children. His father and an adult son, who himself became a father long ago learned a lot about what should be a real father.
