An outreach to the elderly on the day of the feast of fruit gathering

This fall we celebrated the feast of fruit gathering in a special way— we took the fruits and vegetables brought to the church and took them to the regional elderly home with the preaching of the Gospel. Pastor Valeriy Marchenko along with the whole assembly thanked God for the harvest Ukraine had received this year.

THE ELDERLY HOME

After the service we brought the grapes, apples, pears, bought cookies and bananas to hand out at the Elderly Home following a short concert and preaching of the Gospel by deacon Slavic Vorovchenko. We handed out psalm books in the form of a magazine with nice pictures and noted people willing to be visited for prayer.

VISITING THE ELDERLY FOR PRAYER AND GIVING OUT NEW TESTAMENTS

In a week a team got together to visit the people we met at the outreach. We prayed for them, shared the Gospel, and handed out New Testaments.
