City mayor Andriy Sadovyi visits Gethsemane for prayer
17.11.2015Healing and deliverence service
17.11.2015Gethsemane held two seminars by an international minister George Carr who comes from a background of 39 years in ministry and represents the “Global Action” international mission. Seminar 1 was on “Healing your Body and Soul * Seminar 2 – “Life-changing leadership”. What is interesting, power supply was cut off due to technical issues at the power station* and the seminar had to be conducted in the style of the early church – in the candle lights.
George Carr, Dean of GLOMOS School, “Global Action” mission. Brother Carr accentuated that leading others to Christ is badly impeded by personal spiritual wounds of unforgiveness and offences contaminating one’s mind and heart. Only by way of deliverance through repentance we make ourselves able to minister to the Lord in his Gospel. Gethsemane s worship group led the congregation in the praise time.
Gethsemane head pastor spoke a word of introduction on the importance of Christian training and asked God’s blessing on the seminar.
During the 2nd seminar, brother Carr stressed that our values define our goals, and our goals are what we want to take those who follow us to, if we are leaders. God’s leader should be able to plan, think through and take time to prepare for his actions, while constantly evaluating the outcomes by the set goals and being sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s lead in dealing with individual followers.
Brother Carr led the prayer so that God would impart His courage and wisdom into our hearts to be faithful messengers of His will.
