The Seminar, the Retreat and the Youth Camp

Gethsemane church was blessed to have two guest speakers from Kyiv hold a seminar on “Problems in Christian Families” to help us identify and resolve the problematic situations. Viktor Matveyev, director of the “Peace to Your House” Christian mission talking about the pyramid of life influencing factors. Pastor and a practicing psychologist Igor Alferov talking about different ways to learn to to stay in control of challenging situations.

Gethsemane leaders and church members left Lviv for a beautiful resort base located in a forest zone 90 km north of Lviv to pray, worship, read the Word and listen to God’s still small voice.

The YOUTH CAMP “TRANSFORMERS”

Gethsemane youth went to an inter-church youth camp in the Carpathian mountains named “Transformers” which was about seeking God for spiritual transformation of the young people facing the challenges of the modern day. It was a great time to have fun and learn more about God and themselves. Katya Pantserno from the Gethsemane youth group interpreting for brother Stephan from Germany, her fiancé. Gethsemane children’s and teen ministry deacon Pavlo Vasikov speaking at a camp service. Right there in the camp there was the water baptism conducted for 8 new brothers and sisters!
