On the 10-th of March in Gethemane Church a “Spring Holiday — Women’s Holiday took place. There were altogether 70 women. Brother Ilya Yurkiv and sister Olha Gakha from our church performed a ‘Masks’* skit showing the types of masks people put on in their fives. For example, a career mask – you do everything for the sake your career and lose family friends. kids as a result.

Sister Natalya Kharchenko cited a poem about women. Sister Olena Vonovchenko lead a creative contest on mask-making. Winners of the Lmask contest’ got prizes -nice 2012 calendars.

Sister Man anna Petrova spoke about God’s ability to see women’s hearts and that He wants to help them 5et them tree from stereotypes imposed by this world: all for the sake of career, personal gain, money, while their souls remain empty All the women wrote down their ‘masks’ – willing for Jesus Christ to set them free and help to set up true God’s priorities in their lives.

In the second part of the skit, brotherand mother Kanna Gevorgyan tosd that only Jesus Christ can take off ‘masks’ that people often put on in their lives. Ater the prayer afl participants symbolically threw away their problems, sins, ‘masks’ into a garbage-can and brothers carried these outside and set on fire.

The Head Pastor Marchenko Valeriy Pavlovych greeted women with this spring holiday. He spoke about the way our Lord sees women, their beauty, what qualities God and men value in women and about a special mission of women in this life. He finished his words with a prayer and blessed all who were present at this event.

After the prayer Pastor Valeriy greeted the women again and together with other brothers presented nice spring flowers to them along with the main gift – the Gospel of Jesus Christ. A joyful greeting to women from the Kid’s Club ‘The Future Fathers of Ukraine”. They greeted women with poems and songs. Brothers also prepared gifts: poems., interesting slideshow about women and a song about the most beautiful Ukrainian women.
