On the 9th of April in Gethsemane Church pastors and ministers of Emmanuel Church (Kyiv) along with the deputy of rector of Ukrainian Theological Gospel Seminary lead the seminar “Practical Mentorship, Leadership ans Ministry”. In the foyer of the church sister Mariya Trefilova registered the guests who came to participate. Beside the sister from the Church “Good News” (Truskavets) set a shop of Christian goods, like Bibles, Christian books, music discs and interesting trifles.

“Let’s worship the Lord” – the seminars started with a praise song for Lord Jesus. The head pastor of the Church Valeriy Marchenko greeted the participants and introduced the team of the servants from Kiev who came to Lviv to share their spiritual and practical experience in mentorship.

Olena Nalyvayko, mentorship, leadership and homegroup pastor of Emmanuel Church (Kiev). Pastor Olena shared her experience about guiding people to Christ and being a mentor and pastor for them. The representative of the christian channel CNL Volodumyr Choryngyy recorded a reportage about seminar and anniversary of Gethsemane Church. The seminars were recorded to enable those who were absent to be also blessed through the teaching.

The most important thing for a servant is a prayer. The prayer is a beginning of everything. Sister Olena lead the seminar how to pray for friends and relatives. Fellowship in groups. Every participant got a “heart” to write down the names of the people they’d wish to pray for

Efim Fingerman, the deputy of rector of Ukrainian Theological Gospel Seminary witnessed about mentorship and gave a lot of practical examples how to care about a person and reveal a Christ for her. The practical steps for homegroup were examined using a board. Sister Svitlana Polich (Emmanuel Church) lead a seminar about effective service of youth home group. Pastor of worship Olena Markheva presented a new disc with the songs of praise and worship “I believe that Jesus is Lord”

For the beginning of the first part of the seminar all participants sang a song “I love you with the love of Christ”

During the seminar the special time was set for greetings. The guests had the opportunity to give the birthday greetings for the Church. Pastor Anatolyi Kuzmitch (Good News Church, Truskavets) greets the Gethsemane Church and pastor with 17th anniversary. and Roman Horodytskyy from Truskavets and Drohobych greeted Gethsemane Church and said a lot of warm friendly words.

Pastor of the New Generation Church (Lviv) Oleksand Ghyk greeted the head pastor of Gethsemane Church Valeriy Marchenko and wished the blessings for the quickest completion of the Church building. For the ending of the seminar the head pastor of Gethsemane Church sincerely thanked the guests and servants for the service and said: “everything we did and do has the same goal of spreading the Kingdom of God in Ukraine, making the name of the Lord known”
