On Sunday, February 7th, 2016, the servants of Gethsemane Church came to perform the baptism in the elderly (geriatric) home. Brother Valeriy Kudymov and sister Ella Lurie acknowledged Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour and entered into the Covenant with the Lord Jesus Christ through Holy Baptism.

After the baptism, brother Valeriy Kudymov and sister Ella Lurie participated in the Holy Communion for the first time. Closing the service, the deacon Ihor Khiliutych performed a prayer for God’s healing of the sick people.

Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. (James 5:14,15)
