Gethsemane Church takes advantage of most holidays, both state and religious ones, as opportunities to publicly reach out to the community. During the Easter season, church members invited their friends to come to the church for the traditional blessing of Easter baskets. Church attendance increases during such season and the church preachers prepared special evangelistic messages.

Just as it written “Sing a new song to the Lord ” the worship group blessed the congregation with new powerful songs of resurrection. People brought Easter baskets for the traditional blessing and heard the Word of God about the true Bread of life.
