In Gethsemane great celebration – 3 people entered into covenant with the Lord Jesus Christ through water baptism. “Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting”. (Ps.118:1). At the beginning of divine service the servants of the Church read the Word of God. “Holy is our Lord” – worship group Gethsemane Church urged the church to give glory, honor and praise to the Lord’s name.

Before Water Baptism, senior pastor of the Church “Gethsemane,” Valery Marchenko briefed about what will happen now and why it is important for everyone to take this step of repentance and water baptism, why it is important to fulfill the “fulfill all righteousness”, as given to us example of our Lord – Jesus Christ.

Sister Lillya Barytska, accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior six months ago and passed the course “First Steps in Christ” is now entering into covenant with God through water baptism.

Three years ago the brother of Alexander completely lost his eyesight but the Lord touched his heart and gave new life with Jesus Christ. Today Alexander with faith and confidence he said – “I will serve the Lord all my life”. After Water Baptism Senior Pastor and Pastor Valeriy Marchenko ritual ministry – Dmitry Semchenko held prayer blessing with the laying on of hands and anointing with oil for the newly-baptized person. In the present brother Alexander – Certificate of Baptism and Audiobible. The Bible – the perfect gift for a newborn Christian.

Home Group Gethsemane Church from Chervonohrad city welcomed newly baptized spiritual poems and songs – “Not that I see, I live by faith!” Greetings from the children’s ministry from the city of Lviv and Chervonohrad. Children welcomed the newly baptized encouraging verses about God’s plan for human life. And one more greeting from the children – happy song “Every move I make I make in You”

Sister Natalia testified for the Church how the Lord healed her from a terminal illness and given new life in Christ Jesus. Commandment Communion – the Lord’s Supper. Today we remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on Calvary without which we could obtain salvation and eternal life.

The Apostle Paul says: ” For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus in the night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” In the same way {He took} the cup also after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink {it,} in remembrance of Me.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes. Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord. But a man must examine himself, and in so doing he is to eat of the bread and drink of the cup.” (1Co.11:23-28)

After sharing communion pastor Valery read a special prayer request church and thank God for answered prayers. Pastor Dmitry Semchenko told the church about the construction of the Temple.

This week, Vladimir and Larisa Maleryky celebrated a special date in the marriage – Silver wedding.
Pastor Valery welcomed sister Larisa and brother Wladimir, who was unable to come today and the whole Church at prayer, bless their family. Prayer of Repentance. Today, three souls come in repentance to the Lord.
