The end of the fall was a great time to lift up the importance of the Bible as the word of God. We celebrated the Bible day by recapping its past history and present application inside and outside the church walls. The church’s altar on the Bible day consisted of Bibles in various translations, languages and applications.

Guest speaker brother Oleksandr Reznik of the Bible Society shared about the role of the Bible translation during the Reformation. We brought a group from an old age home to attend the service. Pastor Valeriy Marchenko spoke about how important it is to apply the message of the Bible to our daily lives. Children’s Bibles—gifts to our Sunday school children from the Bible Society. Feeding the people from the old age home after the service.

OUTREACH IN THE CITY CENTER

We set up a tent and handed out NTs as well as other literature on salvation, prayer and the person of Jesus Christ. We talked to many passers-by and shared the Good News. It was cold, but we knew we were fulfilling the great commission!
