On November 13th Gethsemane had the city mayor Andriy Sadovyi visiting the church to pray with and talk to the evangelical pastors from Lviv and other regions of Ukraine. Gethsemane’s head pastor Valeriy Marchenko introduced the mayor to the pastors and prayed for God’s blessing on the meeting.

The city mayor gave a report on his vision of how he sees the city facilities administration should be done and answered the pastors’ questions on both the local administrative issues and cooperation with evangelical churches. 

Bishop Vasyl Boyechko and all the pastors prayed for God’s protection and blessing of the mayor’s family as well as for wisdom for him in managing all the complicated issues there are to be dealt with in managing the city activities and development.

After the meeting, the mayor and pastors had an informal fellowship over a cup of tea and refreshments.
