On Thursday and Friday before the Easter Gethsemane members gathered to follow the Gospel events and break bread in remembrance of Jesus’ death.

CHRIST IS RISEN!

Gospel events read in English, German, Ukrainian and Greek. Pastor Valeriy Marchenko shared a word on the bread of life and blessed the Ukrainian Easter loaves—”paska”. Mirra Vorovchenko, 7, and other Sunday school kids sang special worship songs to celebrate Jesus’ resurrection.

SHARING THE GOSPEL ON EASTER SUNDAY

One group, led by deacon Slavic Vorovchenko, handed out Gospels, tracts, and other Christian literature in front of the Opera house at an Easter fair.

The other group—Gethsemane worship group and Sunday school children— praised God in front of many people at an open-air museum of architecture.
